San Francisco is working harder for working families

A MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR & TREASURER

Last September, over 11,000 families received a Working Families Credit (WFC) check as part of our commitment to help working families survive and thrive in San Francisco.

The new tax season is here and Treasurer Cisneros and I are urging everyone who is eligible to apply for the WFC this year. We are also asking you to tell your friends, neighbors, relatives or colleagues about the Working Families Credit — we don't want anyone in San Francisco who’s eligible for the EITC or WFC to miss out.

We are committed to helping San Francisco families find all of the money and benefits they have earned. Please use this website to find out about other benefits you could be receiving, including help with health insurance, grocery bills and financial services like a bank account or a financial training class.

Working harder for working families in San Francisco is our continued commitment to you. We want to make it easier for you to keep and invest more of what you earn and build a strong future for your family in San Francisco.

Warmest Regards,
Mayor Gavin Newsom           Treasurer José Cisneros
