All children and many low-income adults living in San Francisco may be eligible for free or
low-cost health insurance through the Medi-Cal, Healthy Families or Healthy Kids & Young Adults
programs. San Francisco Health Plan can help determine if you are eligible for one of these programs, and
can assist with the application process.
In San Francisco, the Following Groups May Be Eligible:
- All children
- Many low-income young adults aged 19-24
- Many low-income adults with children
